Community oral histories

For examples of community oral histories [click here]

These histories are a collection of individual oral histories compiled to create a mosaic understanding of the complexity of a community. These projects with many historical photos included in a print book or video DVD. These projects preserve the history of a society for future generations.

  • An audio tape or CD can be created for visitors to take a walking or driving tour of the neighborhood as another way to keep history alive.
